Med-Aire 8" Mattress and Low Air-Loss Pump Replacement System This system utilizes both alternating pressure and low air loss to optimize pressure redistribution and manage skin maceration. It helps prevent, treat, and manage pressure injuries in both long-term care and acute-care settings.

The digital pump can be customized to individual patients' comfort, which is achieved through customizable pressure selection and a pillow function that maintains three air cells at the head of the bed in static mode. The digital pump automatically returns to alternating pressure if the system is left on static mode for more than two hours. The cell-on-cell design won't "bottom out" and provides up to 24 hours of power-outage protection.

Each one of the twenty 8"D air bladders can be easily removed and replaced. The zippered 4-way stretch quilted cover is low sheer, fluid-resistant, and vapor-permeable.

Three diagnostic alarms distinguish between mattress and pump problems for more efficient servicing. CPR valve allows for rapid deflation.
